Edit scans of old book

I am working on making a reproduction of a book from the 1600s. I need the following steps to be done to 158 pages. 1. Scale image to proper size 3 3/8 inches wide X 5 5/8 inches tall. 2. Rotate image to that lines are straight. 3. Move text so it fits in the page margins. 4. Remove black shadows from edge of page. 5. Remove specs from the scanning process. I have a GIMP template with margins where I want them. Make sure there is a white layer behind the image so that the full resulting image is the proper size and shape. I want to keep the images as high resolution as possible.
