I require assistance with data entry/bookkeeping for my tax return. This involves manually entering details from around 240 PDF invoices into a Google Sheet.
Key Details:
- The data to be entered includes date of purchase, item name/description, vendor, and amount.
- In most cases, i have included all these details already in the file name (ie date, vendor, and item name)
- Most of the PDFs contain a single item, however, some contain multiple items.
- In total, there are approximately 300-400 items to enter.
- The majority of the invoices are straightforward (from Amazon, eBay, etc.)
- some are services provided
- I have highlighted on most of the invoices which items need to be included, where there are multiple items.
You will be provided with all necessary files and a template Google Sheet to enter the data. This is a simple but time-consuming task. Please note:
- Expenses should be categorized by date.
- You are not required to verify the accuracy of the highlighted items. Just enter them as highlighted.
Ideal candidates for this project would be diligent and detail-oriented individuals with experience in data entry and bookkeeping.
