I'm in need of a skilled podcast producer to help with my educational co-hosted discussion podcast. The tasks will include recording and editing episodes, guest coordination and scheduling, as well as marketing and distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recording and editing episodes: Ensuring high-quality audio and seamless transitions.
- Guest coordination and scheduling: Finding relevant guests and managing their schedules.
- Marketing and distribution: Promoting the podcast and handling its distribution.
- Creating detailed show notes for each episode including timestamps and key points discussed.
- Ensuring consistent sound quality across all episodes by performing regular audio checks.
The ideal candidate for this project should have extensive experience in podcast production, particularly with educational content. Skills in audio editing, guest coordination, as well as marketing and distribution are crucial. Experience with co-hosted discussions is a plus.
The series will have 4 episodes per week.
Scriptwriting and content planning will be handled independently and do not require the producer's input. Each episode is expected to be 40-60 minutes long. The podcast will be hosted and distributed on Spotify and Apple. We prefer to use Audacity for recording and editing. Episodes should be ready for release on specific days each week.
